16-06-1915 => Disparu à l'Altmattkopf à Muhlbach-sur-Munster

Citation à l'ordre de la brigade le 06-07-1915 => Malgré un feu très vif d'une mitrailleuse allemande qui le prenait de flanc, a entrainé les hommes de son escouade jusqu'aux tranchées et s'en est emparé, a été blessé au cours de cette attaque
