⌘ Étymologies et toponymes

Баянгол - Bayangol, signifiant simplement Riche vallée, est un des districts de la ville d'Oulan-Bator mais aussi toponyme assez répandu car nous le retrouvons en nombreux autres lieux de Mongolie et de Bouriatie.

Si ce toponyme mongol est district urbain de la capitale, Bayangol est aussi soum en Sélengé et Ovokhangaï, village et chaf-lieu du Soum Bugat en Gov-Sumber ainsi que le nom d'un gisement ferreux.

En Bouriatie, il est nom de plusieurs villages, rivières et oulous dont village du district de Barguzinsky et du district de Zakamensky, est oulous du district de Khorinsky, hydronyme du district de Zakamensky et un affluent gauche de la rivière Ulekchin, affluent de la Sélengé.
